In order to carry out his functions and the assignments arising from the Statute, national and regional laws or regulations, the President makes use of the Cabinet Office. The latter is an operational unit that supports and connects the leading political body with the administration; it is also entitled to the overall coordination of structures and activities that are directly linked to the President himself.

Functions

• Preparing legal documents directly attributable to the President: appointing aldermen and transferring them expertise and functions, assigning proxies, preparing appointment decisions for the Director-General, the Secretary-General, the Executives and duty Managers;
• Ensuring functional and operational connection between the Presidency of the Province on the one hand and governmental bodies and the administration on the other;
• Allowing the transfer of autonomous stimulating, orienting and coordinating functions from the President of the Province to political management Bodies, to the Province's administrative structure and to external organizations or bodies according to uniform criteria and managerial efficiency;
• Preparing legal documents attributable to the above mentioned functions of the President as well as those related to budget appropriations approved by the economic management plan;
• Ensuring quicker administrative actions and helps overcome the fragmentation of proceedings also through efficient methods and appropriate instruments for coordination;
• Enhancing and draws up plans and projects concerning the objectives as defined by the President's guidelines.
• Assuming management responsibility for the projects set up in the economic management plan and attributed to cost centers: The functioning of the Executive and the Council.
